As a School Board/District there are many ways for you, your teachers and your students to participate in VROC.  Essentially, three levels of participation apply which are listed below:

Website Registrant (free)

As indicated this level is most popular because it is abslutely free and open to everyone!  We encourage all School Boards and District within Canada to start at this level since it will begin the process of participation.  Website Registrants have access and the ability to:
  • View video clips and VROC session videos in their entirety
  • Pose questions "live" to the T-WiSE (This Week in Science and Education) podcast panelists
  • Communicate with researchers and other teachers in the Ask The Expert forum.

To register to the website simply click on Create an Account under the Login Form or click here. Individuals and organizations are welcome to register.

request two free videoconferencing sessions per year, have access in a limited capacity to the archives, pose questions online to researchers/experts and access our podcast for real-time science information for your classroom.  As well, you can access the resources section where you can upload and share lesson plans and other material specific to your VROC experience.

Partner (free)

VROC partnership from a teaching perspective is open to any School Board/District in Canada.  By becoming a VROC partner a school board/district is entitled to:

  • All of the benefits of a Website Registrant above
  • Two videoconferencing sessions per year chosen from the Topic Menu

To become a VROC Partner, School Boards/Districts must sign the partnership agreement and have their participating teachers/students register on the website.
